Dubin Clark Closes 5 Deals in 2015 & Successfully Exits 2! Actively Seeks New Investment Opportunities
2015 was an eventful year for Dubin Clark, as we closed five acquisitions and exited two businesses. We welcomed two new platform companies – USSC Holding Corp. and SGA Production Services – and closed three strategic add-ons related to our Restoration Parts Unlimited and Johnny on the Spot portfolio companies. We also opened our new Florida Office and welcomed new team members – Marcel Schmitt and James Monaco!
This past year, after partnering with the management teams and growing both Driven Performance Brands (DPB) and, via an affiliated investment vehicle, Quest Events (Quest), we sold both businesses. Together with DPB management (in partnership with Midwest Mezzanine), we completed five strategic add-on acquisitions and building a world-class operation; and together with Quest management (in partnership with Gemini Investors and Harbert Mezzanine Partners), we opened four new locations and closed six add-on acquisitions in less than four years. Having exceeded our growth objectives in both cases, we felt the time had come to find another partner for these companies, one that would continue to finance the significant future growth of the businesses.
Meeting seller’s timing deadlines, flexibility in deal structuring, and providing certainty of close based on a 32-year track record have contributed to Dubin Clark’s ongoing success.
