Molly Simmons

Molly Simmons is the founder of McFarland Partners, a boutique firm focused on private investments and business strategies, especially for family offices and family and founder-owned businesses.  She has deep expertise in strategy, finance, private equity investments and family offices.

Before McFarland, Molly was a Managing Director at Pohlad Companies, a large single-family office.  Previously, she was a General Partner at two SBIC private equity funds: Gemini Investors and Tonka Bay Equity Partners.

Molly has served on the board of the Association for Corporate Growth (Boston Chapter) and was the chair of the Small Business Investor Alliance (SBIA).  In addition, she has served on over 30 public and private boards.

Molly earned a BS from Northwestern University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
