BOSTON, MA – September 2, 2020 – Dubin Clark & Company, a private equity firm focused on lower middle market specialty service and branded niche manufacturing businesses, announced today that it has completed two acquisitions for its HVAC platform – Astar Heating & Air. The acquisitions, Sila Heating & Air Conditioning (“Sila”) and Jones Services (“Jones”), extend the platform’s footprint in the northeast. Going forward, the platform will rebrand to Sila Heating & Air Conditioning.
Sila and Jones are leading providers of HVAC replacement, service, maintenance, plumbing solutions, and water treatment to a diversified base of residential customers. Sila services homeowners in the greater Philadelphia, Boston, Baltimore/D.C., and NY/NJ/CT tri-state area while Jones focuses on customers in the lower Hudson Valley. Sila was founded in 1989 and is headquartered in King of Prussia, PA. Jones was founded in 1986 and headquarters in Goshen, NY.
